MOBILE, Ala. — Former Tennessee starting quarterback Joe Milton competed in the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl on Saturday afternoon. Milton played under center for four possessions on the American Team in Mobile, AL.
Milton’s American Team lost to the National Team in the 16-7 college all-star game. He completed nine of his 13 passing attempts, but the former Vol also threw two interceptions.
The first pick happened in the second quarter. Milton’s pass was intended for Missouri star running back Cody Schrader, but he threw into the hands of Oregon safety Evan Williams.
The second was a few yards short of being a pick-six. Milton threw to Washington State defensive back Chau Smith-Wade. Smith-Wade was wide open during the play and returned the interception 83 yards toward the end zone.
It was a back-and-forth performance from Milton, certainly not his best showing, but Milton has another shot to pick up some traction from the league when the NFL Combine rolls around in early March.
