Anthony Davis, LeBron James Upgraded Ahead Of Knicks Game.
After missing a stunning 114-105 primetime road upset Thursday night against the Boston Celtics.
Los Angeles Lakers All-Stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis have seen their statuses updated (slightly) ahead of their matchup tomorrow against the hottest team in the East, the New York Knicks, currently on a nine-game win streak.
Per Jovan Buha of The Athletic, Davis and James are now merely “questionable” to play, which in the injury designation hierarchy is a big step up from “out” or “doubtful.”
A bilateral Achilles tendinopathy and left hip spasm have kept Davis shelved for the past two LA contests, which the Lakers have split 1-1. James has been dealing with a left ankle peroneal tendinopathy for a while now.
Small forward Cam Reddish, power forward Jarred Vanderbilt, and point guard Gabe Vincent all remain out with their respective long-term ailments: a right ankle sprain, a sore right foot and left knee effusion surgery recovery.
