lot of Texas Longhorns are going to hear their names called at the NFL Draft, which runs April 25-27 in Detroit, but the questions are how many and at what point.
Depending on which mock drafts you choose to trust at this still-early juncture of the draft process, as many as nine Texas players are projected to be drafted. Within those nine, at least three — wide receivers Xavier Worthy and Adonai Mitchell, and defensive tackle Byron Murphy II — are expected to flirt with the first round.
NFL Scouting Combine invitations for next month are not yet official, but Texas is a safe bet to be well-represented, with upwards of six Longhorns headed to Indianapolis.
